Intuit App Center is a service for small businesses to find and use apps that work with QuickBooks and with each other. Intuit App Center provides a single place to access all your apps, manage settings, and find more apps to grow your business.
Do you use QuickBooks? Or TurboTax? Or Quicken? An Intuit ID is a user ID and password you can use to log into multiple Intuit websites. If you have created a user ID on another Intuit website (see examples below), you can use the same user ID and password to log into Intuit App Center.

The apps on Intuit App Center are created by either Intuit or independent software developers who want to build innovative small business apps that work with QuickBooks and other Intuit products. Every app must pass a rigorous review process before being offered on Intuit App Center.
Each developer knows their app best. So, for specific app-related questions, we recommend that you contact the developer directly. From inside the app, click the Help link on the top right corner and follow the instructions provided. If you want to learn more about an app before signing up, visit the app page on Intuit App Center.
You do not need QuickBooks to try or buy apps on Intuit App Center, but many of the apps are designed to work with QuickBooks data and add additional functionality to QuickBooks. There are also some apps that work independently of QuickBooks.
An app that works with QuickBooks for Windows can share data with a selected QuickBooks company file. This allows data to be synced between the app and your QuickBooks, allowing you to update a record in one and having it updated in the other. This increases data accuracy and eliminates the need for double data entry. For example, when you use a CRM app that works with QuickBooks for Windows, adding a new customer contact information in the CRM app will also create a contact information in QuickBooks, or updating the payment history in QuickBooks will also update the customer record in the CRM app.
Most apps on Intuit App Center are able to sync data with QuickBooks 2009 or newer for Simple Start, Pro, Premier, and Enterprise editions. App data sync is not supported for QuckBooks version 2008 or older.
An app that works with QuickBooks Online automatically uses the latest company file data that you specify, ensuring data accuracy and eliminating double data entry. For example, when you select a QuickBooks Online company file to work with a CRM app, your most up-to-date customer list in QuickBooks is made available in the CRM app without you having to take any extra step. Conversely, when you update customer contact in the CRM app, the new information is automatically updated in QuickBooks - all in real time.
As you use Intuit App Center, know that your business data is safe and secure. All apps on Intuit App Center must pass a technical check and a security review before they are made available on the site. The technical check and security review test each app as well as the data transmission between the app and Intuit App Center. Intuit App Center's infrastructure is the same data center that processes millions of TurboTax returns.
Because all the apps on Intuit App Center are web-based (also referred to as "Software-as-a-Service" or "Cloud Computing"), you do not need to install them on your computer. The only technical requirement you need to access and use these apps is a web browser. See Which web browsers are supported by Intuit App Center.
Every app has undergone an extensive testing and approval process for quality, data integration with QuickBooks (if appropriate), and data security before being made available on Intuit App Center.
Trick question. Because your data is stored in our servers, you don't have to worry if something happens to your computer. Your data in these apps will still be accessible from any computer with an internet connection and a web browser, just as before.
