Who created the software applications found on Workplace App Center?

The applications found on Workplace App Center are created by either Intuit or members of the Intuit Developer Network--a group of trusted, independent software developers. Click to 'Learn More' about any application and reference the detailed description for specific app information

What is the Intuit Workplace App Center?

The Intuit Workplace App Center is a single location to find and try business applications that work with QuickBooks and with each other. By logging in, you can easily access applications, manage setting and find more applications.

What do I do if I have a question or issue with the third-party software from the Workplace App Center?

The developer knows their application best, so to provide you with the best response, we recommend you contact the developer. You can click Help within the application for specific application support. If you have a pre-sales question, visit the application's page on Workplace App Center.

What is an Intuit ID? Do I have one already?

Do you use Turbo Tax? Or Quicken? Or QuickBooks? An Intuit Account is a user ID and password you can use to log into multiple Intuit websites. If you have QuickBooks or created a user ID on another Intuit website, that is most likely your Intuit Account. Your Intuit Account will allow you to log into Workplace App Center.

Is my data protected?

Your data transmissions are secure and you can access your data anytime. The Workplace infrastructure is the same data center that processed 18.7 million tax returns through TurboTax in tax year 2008. As you use a Workplace App, know that your QuickBooks financial data is on your desktop and on Intuit servers , protected and accessible.

Do I need QuickBooks to use these Apps?

Nope! You do not need to be a QuickBooks user to try or buy these applications. All solutions listed on the App Center are designed to be used by any business, QuickBooks user or not!

How do I know if a software application in the Workplace App Center will run on my computer?

Once you are on a specific application page (you might have reached this by clicking on "Learn More", visit the Technical tab. There, you can review the system requirements for that specific application.

What does it mean that software applications "work with Quickbooks?"

Applications that work with QuickBooks allow you to sync your QuickBooks data to the application, thus eliminating doule data entry. For example, your customer list in QuickBooks could be synced with a CRM application, allowing you to manage one customer list instead of many.

I don't remember my User ID or Password or I need to update them. How do I do this?

Please click the Forgot User ID link or Forgot Password on the Sign In page. Enter your email address and you will recieve a link with your User ID or prompt to change your password.

If you don't rememer your challenge question, please contact Workplace support. Note that WorkPlace support is able to help with Sign in and Sign up problems. For specific application issues, please contact the developer.

To update your email address log into Workplace. Click My Account>User Profile>Edit (next to Intuit account). If you don't have access to your email address anymore, please contact Workplace support.

Can I sync my app with QuickBooks 2008 or prior versions?

No. Applications are able to sync with QuickBooks 2009 and 2010 for Simple Start, Pro, Premier and Enterprise editions. Application data sync is not supported for QuickBooks version 2008 or earlier.

How are 3rd party developers certified? Can I trust them?

Yes! Intuit Partner Platform applications have undergone an extensive testing and approval process to ensure applications found on Intuit Workplace App Center are quality products that can seemlessly integrate with QuickBooks, when data integration is appropriate.

How often are new software applications added to the Workplace App Center?

New applications are being added frequently! Keep checking back to find new software applications that help you run your business so you can focus on growing your business.

How do I back up my data?

Trick question. We've done it for you! Because your data is stored in our cloud, you don't have to worry if anything happens to your computer or systems. Your Workplace App data will not be affected.
