Not a Good Start

[11/19/2009]  Given the sheer number of CRM tools available today, Intuit should have produced a much better first draft of the CMO. I know they were going for ease of use - which I'm all for - but they skimped on some of the basic components of most contact managers. If nothing else the tool should feature the functionality and logical layout of an Outlook contact record. It's disappointing to have something that would help centralized the client process within the Intuit/QuickBooks world be so devoid of real functionality. I'll check back in a year to see the progress made.

Poor Customer Support

[11/15/2009]  Telephone support is a must- and you don't get it here. Lots of bugs. For example, Sync comes up with a cannot connect error and I'm told "This is normal" by email customer support. Yeah right! Brakes on cars ought to work, and so should sync.

Nice, but somewhat unstable

[11/10/2009]  I like this application and I have been using it for about a month. It provides most of the functionality that I need. I have two suggestions. First, it would be nice to have the invoices, past due and payments resident in this system. It would save time from toggling back and forth to QuickBooks for that information. Second, the application availability seems a little unstable. It may be my browser, but it frequently requires me to sign out and then sign in again to re-establish contact. This is very irritating and slows down my work every day. I am sticking with it at this time in the hopes that this will improve.

It slows down my system

[11/05/2009]  Whenever I use this I can't do anything at all in this program or any other. It simply stops everything, as it takes 1 or more minutes to process even a simple task such as checking a box to state it’s complete. I have a good system, with 2 GB of ram so this is not the issue. Every program halts, and my mouse won't even move until this beast has finished doing whatever it needed to take all that time to do.

Contacts Syncing and Import Issues

[10/31/2009]  I have tried to sync the system with my QuickBooks and also tried to import contacts from Outlook. Despite multiple tries, it gives errors. The import tool constantly says that QuickBooks servers are down and no imports can be done.

Good and Getting Better

[10/30/2009]  The startup and transition from beta to live was a little bumpy (for us anyways!) - but customer service at Intuit went above and beyond to get our account working! Thank you Anna, Scott, and Lisa!! The calendar functions are very good (better than WebEx's) which we can soon cancel and save huge $$$'s! The current app is not a full blown CRM replacement (yet), but we have been an Intuit customer for years - and we've seen how they constantly improve their products. We're confident that while sitting on the bleeding edge of Customer Manager today, we will be very happy with the end result. Again, we are extremely pleased with Intuit's customer service, and look forward to having our sales data and management linked to QuickBooks!

[10/30/2009]  I was pleasantly surprised by this application. It is going to save the problem of accessing QuickBooks data remotely. I got up and running very quickly. I am now starting to use it actively. Am sure that I will have more ideas and suggestions after I use it more. Wondering if there is a way to integrate this with my Facebook contacts.

[10/29/2009]  I was unable to sync with the QuickBooks desktop, or with Outlook, also a rep who had full access to my computer, failed to sync. There are 100s of features absent in the customer manager, including recurrence ability, bulk e mails, labels, etc. I don't think that I will pay $10 a month for that.

[10/28/2009]  This program is poorly put together. I have tried to rectify my issues to no avail. If you use it, be sure you have a paper back-up. There is no way to neither print your calendar nor back it up. If those problems are taken care of after I post this review my only other MAJOR complaint was the fact that we have been unable to access the calendar and lost all of our appointments. The tech. that called to try to help us said the engineers mistakenly "tagged" several clients and it will take hours of being on the line with her to straighten it out. I am not impressed.

[10/27/2009]  I have only signed on for the first time. While it appears to be interesting, the exchange rate is slow and fields seem to freeze on the screen. Won't work for my fast pace. Keep working on it though..... I have high hopes for the product. It's just not there yet.
