AccountsOnline is an easy way to allow your customers to view their transaction history. Leveraging the power and infrastructure of Intuit's Partner Platform, AccountsOnline will give your customers the ability to view their contact information as well as any invoices, credit memos, sales orders, sales receipts, and payments on file.

There are two views, one for administrators/business owners, and another for owners. The sole difference between the two is that the administrator is provided a full customer list showing all accounts and corresponding balances so they can remotely view customer transaction history whereas the customer is limited to information solely pertaining to their account.

As of the current release, all data presented is read-only. We hope in the (very) near future to provide functionality to that customers, if permitted by the administrator, can update their contact information from the AccountsOnline interface with those changes automatically being synced back to the master QuickBooks file.

[05/22/2010]  Easier access and login would help. Need a refresh data button to pull new data from QuickBooks. Need to see when and how this web app is pulling data from QuickBooks with ability to stop it. Send Invitation button needs follow up dialog to describe what it is doing. Service is very slow--faster to just email a customer their history, unless customer needs constant access. Need to be able to access customer list names by typing the first several letters. NEED TO BE ABLE TO GIVE ALL CUSTOMERS ACCESS AT ONE TIME WITH JUST A FEW CLICKS.

Can my customers process payments using AccountsOnline?

No. AccountsOnline only provides a read-only interface; however, the source code provides a way from which to build payment processing as well as online transaction generation if you have a developer at your disposal.
