Yes! QuickBooks Sales Tax is included in all QuickBooks Online subscriptions.
Does QuickBooks Sales Tax support cash basis accounting?
No, currently the feature only supports accrual accounting. Support for cash basis will be available in the future.
Does QuickBooks Sales Tax support e-filing of my sales tax returns?
Yes, but we currently only support certain tax agencies. Support for all tax agencies will be available in the future.
How does QuickBooks Sales Tax calculate my sales tax rate?
QuickBooks Sales Tax considers the location of the sale, the product type, the customer, the date of the sale, and whether or not the company has nexus to determine the correct sales tax rate. The state, city, and county are all considered in achieving the accurate rate.
